Itinerary:
Day 1. Bucharest – Sinaia – Bran – Brasov. Accomodation Hotel Coroana Brasovului / Wagner 3 * – 200 km –
This day we visit the two famous Romanian castles, famous for their legends and architectural beauty. Peles Castle, a royal brand since the 19th century, amazes with its eclectic details, but above all the woodwork makes you think of the Bavarian castles. After visiting the Sinaia Orthodox monastery erected by a descendant of the family of the last Byzantine emperors, Cantacuzino, we arrive at the Bran Castle, the work of the Teutonic knights, then the summer residence of Queen Maria. Here we discover the truth about the legend of Dracula, born of Prince Vlad Tepes. Arrival in Brasov, guided tour of the historic center with the Black Church, Council House, Rope Road (the narrowest in Europe), District and church of Scheii Brasovului, the White Tower, Black Tower. Free dinner and overnight.

Day 2. Brasov – The Dambovita Valley – Exploring the virgin forests of the Carpathian mountains – Brasov. Accomodation Hotel Coroana Brasovului / Wagner 3 * -70 km-
This day we make the excursion in the forest with 4×4 and specialized mountain guides all day, with bird watching and visits to the different mountain attractions. Romania is a privileged country, where the second largest population of large carnivores in Europe is found, which is concentrated in the Carpathian mountains and the forests are home to many other species of mammals and birds. Fagaras Mountains also known as Transylvanian Alps belong to the Southern Carpathians covering an area of approximately 3,000 square kilometers. Oriented East-West, their length is about 70 km, from north to south the breadth of the range is over 40 km. The highest peak of both the Fagaras and Romania mountains is called Moldoveanu and rises to 2544 m in the eastern part of the Făgăraş. The destination area is located in the eastern part of the mountain range, in the Upper Valle Dâmboviţa, upstream of the Tămaşul stream. The Fagaras mountains are rich in biodiversity and, according to a recent study, 57 species of mammals live here, in which three large carnivores: the brown bear, the wolf and the lynx. Other species that can be seen are: chamois, deer, roe deer, wild cat, wild boar, fox and otter. We visit the preserved villages Magura and Pestera. Free dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Brasov – Sighisoara – Viscri / Prejmer / Rupea – Brasov. Accommodation Hotel Coroana Brasovului / Wagner 3 *
After breakfast we continue towards Sighisoara, then “La Perla della Transilvania”, included in the Unesco Heritage thanks to the age and originality of the place, birthplace of Vlad Tepes, You can see the Clock Tower, Vlad’s house, Church on the hill , Evangelical Cathedral. Then we visit the Viscri village (in English “the white church”) included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999, thanks to its archaic aspect reminiscent of Saxon architecture. Alternatively, depending on your preferences, you can see the Prejmer or Rupea fortress. In the evening return to Brasov, dinner and accommodation.
Day 4: Brasov – Zarnesti bear reserve – Rasnov Fortress – Bucharest or Otopeni Airport
After breakfast we visit the Zarnesti Protected Reserve where more than 100 bears are monitored to protect them. Arrival at the Rasnov Fortress, the most famous and one of the best preserved Saxon fortresses in Transylvania, Alternatively you can visit the Prejmer Fortress, founded by the Order of the Teutonic knights, included in the UNESCO World Heritage. The tour continues with a visit to the Snagov Monastery, with its Byzantine-style painted walls and where the tomb of Vlad Tepes Dracula (tourist name) is located. Arrival in Bucharest, small panoramic tour, free dinner and overnight stay.
