Itinerary:
Day 1. Arrival at Otopeni Airport according to the timetable. Accommodation Hotel Capitol / Ambasador 4* -20 km
Transfer to the hotel in Bucharest and also we do a panoramic city tour, based on the flight. You can see: the Arch of Triumph, Calea Victoriei, the Revolution Square, the University Square, the Romanian Athenaeum, Royal Palace, Central University Library, the former Communist Central Committee, etc. According to the timetable, we will do a pedestrian visit to the historical center visiting inside the Athaeneum and 2/3 orthodox churches.
Day 2. Bucharest – Snagov – Sinaia – Brasov. Accommodation in Hotel Wagner or Coroana Brasovului 3* -200 km
After breakfast, we go to Snagov Monastery, where Vlad the Impaler (Vlad Dracul’s son) was buried. The monastery was strategically built in the middle of Lake Snagov on the island of the same name. Inside is the largest medieval Byzantine wall painting preserved in a Romanian church, built in the 16th century. After that, we visit Sinaia, a famous place in Romania for its natural and architectural beauties; you can see the Peles Castle, summer residence of the royal families of Charles I, Ferdinand, Carol II and Michele and the monastery of Sinaia erected by the spatial Mihail Cantacuzino in 1695 in brancovenesc style. In the afternoon we arrive in Brasov, where we will visit the main objectives: Council House, Black Church, White Tower, Black Tower, The Caterine’s Gate,the Rope street, narrowest street in Europe, etc.
Day 3. Brasov – Ice Hotel. Accommodation Ice Hotel – 100 km
We go through the Fagaras mountains to the cable car which will transport you to Balea Lake and the Ice Hotel. Enjoy the afternoon in the mountains with a series of snow activities, including the unmissable Tunnel Trek and before preparing for your great evening in the hotel, which starts with a culinary experience and drinks at the Ice Zero Ice Bar. Overnight at the Ice Hotel.
Day 4. Ice Hotel – Bran Castle – Bucharest. Hotel Capitol / Ambasador 4* accommodation
In this day, when we go back in Bucharest, we will stop at the famous Bran Castle, known as Dracula’s Castle in Transylvania. There, you will hear the true story of Prince Vlad and the connection to the legend created by Bram Stocker.
Day 5 Bucharest – Otopeni Airport
In this day you have free time to go to Therme Spa, near to the airport. Also, we do the transfer to the airport based on the flight. See you next time!
