Day 1. Arrival of Otopeni Airport from Italy; Transfer to Bucharest at the hotel, meeting with the guide and guided tour of the city according to the time of arrival. Overnight Hotel city center 3/4 stars -20km
You can see Triumphal Arch, Victoriei Square, Old Town, Stavropoleos Monastery, San Antonio Church, Vlad Impaler's Palace, Hanul lui Manuc Restaurant, Romanian Orthodox Cathedral, Parliament Building (from outside), Calea Victoriei, Piazza della Revolution, Romanian Athenaeum, Royal Palace, Central University Library, former Communist Central Committee. Day 2. Bucharest - Buzau - Focsani. 3/4 star accommodation -200 km
Departure after breakfast to arrive in Buzău district where you can admire a spectacular place, which is unfortunately not very promoted. People have the impression that a piece of the planet Mars or Luna was brought to Romania by the Fango Volcanoes. This impressive phenomenon is found in the Pâclele area, and these volcanoes represent miniature craters. The mud volcanoes of Pâclele Mari and Pâclele Mici have been declared a National Nature Reserve about 100 years ago.In the afternoon, a wine tasting is held in one of the largest wineries in Romania called Beciul Domnesc (Royal Winery). Dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Focsani - Iasi. 3/4 star hotel accommodationIn the morning visit of the Living Fire - a wonder of nature explained by the emanations of natural gas, which cross the cracks of the crust, through spontaneous or no ignition, keeping alive the sacred fire of the earth.
Arrival in the afternoon in the city of Iaşi (also called Jassi), the capital of the homonymous district located in the north-eastern part of Romania. It stretches along the Bahlui river in a flat area covered by seven hills, like Rome, the eternal city. Jassi has always been considered the capital of the historic Moldavian region, even before the territorial division. In fact, from the center of the city there are only twenty kilometers to the border with the Republic of Moldova that was torn from the Romanian territory and the river Prut which creates almost a natural border between the two countries. You can see the avenue Stefan cel Mare with the Mitropolitana Church, the Church of the Three Hierarchs with its splendid architecture, the stupendous Baroque style Palace of Culture and the twentieth century buildings of the city. Day 4. Iasi - Suceava - Voronet. 3/4 star accommodation in Bucovina -200 km
Departure to arrive in the famous Bucovina region, called the land of the monasteries or the country of the beech trees. Here are the frescoed churches of the North of Moldavia, nowadays being 7 churches entered the UNESCO Heritage: Arbore, Humor, Moldovita, Rasca, Sucevita and Voronet. On this day we visit the Voronet Monastery, famous for its dominant blue color and for the Last Judgment scene and the Dragomirna Monastery with the highest church in the village (42 meters).

Day 5. Bucovina - Moldovita - Sucevita - Museum of Eggs Lucia Condrea - Marginea. Accomodation 3/4 stars -100 km
Today we visit the two monasteries painted by Bucovina. The Moldovita Monastery was erected by Prince Petru Rares, son of the Holy Prince Stephen the Great (Stefan cel Mare) in 1532 (painted in 1537 with the dominant yellow color). The scene "The siege of Constantinopole" became famous.Instead the Monastery of Sucevita was erected by the Movila brothers between the years 1582 and 1584. The church is the only one that preserves the external painting also in the northern part, here being the famous fresco "La Scara delle Virtù". The color that predominates is green. We will then visit the International Museum of Painted Eggs and see a demonstration of manual ceramic work at Marginea.

Day 6.: Bucovina - Piatra Neamt - Bicaz Gorge - Miercurea Ciuc. 3/4 star accommodation -350 km
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Miercurea Ciuc. Passing the Carpati chain, crossing the Bicaz gorge, the most famous canon of the country, 10 km long, formed by mesozoic limestone rocks 300-400 m high, passing near the Red Lake, lake originated from the natural barrier for the scrambling of a monte, in 1837; petrified pine trunks emerge from the water. In the afternoon you will reach the town of Miercurea Ciuc, crossing the heart of Transylvania. In the evening, a medieval surprise in the Miko fortress of Miercurea Ciuc. Visit of the Miko fortress which will open its doors with music and wine tasting, giving the opportunity to experience the true medieval charm of the Szekleri village. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Miercurea Ciuc - Bran - Rasnov - Brasov. Accomodation in Brasov city center -165 km
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Bran, visit of the Bran Castle, known as the Castle of Dracula, one of the most picturesque in Romania, built in the thirteenth century by the Teutich knight Teutonic and restored in later periods.Arrival at the Rasnov Fortress, the most famous and one of the best preserved Saxon fortresses from Transylvania, built to defend and control the trade route that connected the Transylvanian and Valachian regions. From here you can admire a beautiful panorama with the surroundings of Rasnov and Brasov. Alternatively you can visit the Prejmer Fortress, founded by the Order of Teutonic Knights and included in the UNESCO World Heritage.
Once in Brasov, visit one of the most fascinating medieval towns in Romania, during which you can admire the Schei District with the Sfantul Nicolae church, the first Romanian school (XV century), the Biserica Neagrã (black church), the Romania's largest church in Gothic style and the ancient fortifications of the city with the bastions of the guilds. Lunch in a restaurant along the way. In the afternoon Departure for Sinaia, called the Pearl of the Carpathians, the most famous mountain resort in Romania. Dinner and overnight in Brasov at the 3 * or 4 * hotel.
Day 8. Brasov - Sinaia - Snagov - Bucharest. 3/4 star accommodation in Bucharest -150 km
After breakfast at the hotel visit Peles Castle, summer residence of King Charles I, where you can admire numerous statues, balustrades, vases, fountains, niches and mosaics.The tour continues with the visit of the Snagov Monastery. Here it is believed that Vlad the Impaler (the son of Vlad Dracul) was buried. The monastery was built strategically in the middle of Lake Snagov, on the island of the same name. Inside is the largest medieval wall painting in a Romanian church, built in the 16th century.
Continue to Bucharest and lunch in a restaurant. Full afternoon dedicated to the discovery of the Romanian capital, called "The Paris of the East", admiring its wide avenues, the glorious buildings "Bell 'Epoque", the Arc de Triomphe, the Romanian Athenaeum, the Revolution Square, the University Square, the "Curtea Domneasca" and visiting the Village Museum, the "Patriarch" (spiritual center of the Romanian Orthodox Church) and the Parliament Building, the second largest building in the world after the Washington Pentagon.
