The itinerary:
Day 1. Airport - Bucharest. Hotel Capitol / Ambasador 4* accommodation - 16 km –
Arrival in Bucharest and meeting with the English speaking guide, who will follow you for the entire trip. Depending on the arrival time, departure by coach for a short panoramic tour of the Romanian capital, admiring its wide avenues, the glorious buildings of the "Belle Époque" style, the Arch of Triumph, the Romanian Athenaeum, the Square of the Revolution and the University Square. Dinner in a typical restaurant ‘’Hanu lui Manuc’’ or ‘’Caru cu bere’’ with folklore show and overnight.
Day 2. Bucharest - Half day in Bucharest - Braila. Accommodation Residence Dutzu 4 * or similar - 230 km -
Breakfast at the hotel and then tour of Bucharest with visit of the Parliament + walking tour; Continue to Braila, city full of Baroque buildings, once skillfully decorated with stuccos and statues. The rounded balconies and the wrought iron railings that adorn the windows recall the ancient splendors of Braila, a rich free port of 1920.
Day 3. Braila - Dobrogea - The Macin Mountains – Cocos Monastery - Danube Delta. Accomodation Puflene Resort 4* or similar
The Macin Mountains are very important in Romania, as the oldest mountains in this country. Researchers are mainly interested in archaeological excavations, due to the large number of historical sites, but also in the scientific research of the immense natural treasure existing here - from a geological, botanical and zoological point of view; visit of the Cocos monastery and arrival in the Danube Delta.
Day 4. Boat trip in Delta + Bird watching, then fishing or free time.Accomodation Puflene Resort 4* or similar
The Danube Delta is a fascinating corner of Romania's paradise. The incredible vegetation of the island, where tourists can admire the sand dunes, wild beaches, reed areas, and more than 5,000 plants or creatures attracts tourists from all corners of the world every year like a magnet. Travel by boat, you will visit Mila 23, lakes, Letea's horses, Caraorman forest. As an extra activity, you can fish, by renting fishing equipment from the hotel. Alternatively, free time for walks or swimming.
Day 5.Boat trip to Sfantu Gheorghe + Fauna infotrip. Accomodation Puflene Resort 4* or similar
This day you will arrive by boat and visit the traditional fishing town of Sfantu Gheorghe located on the arm of Sfantu Gheorghe without access to the cars.
Day 6.Danube Delta - Constanta - Bucharest. 4 * Hotel Capitol / Ambasador accommodation - 300 km –
Breakfast at the hotel and then visit of the city on the seacoast Constanta; you can see the historic center, the statue of the poet Ovidiu, the port, the tourist resort Mamaia. In the afternoon arrival in Bucharest.
Day 7. Bucharest - Airport
Breakfast at hotel.In the morning, depending on the departure time, possibility to visit the Village Museum. Free time and free lunch during the day. Transfer to the airport in time for boarding and return home.
