3 days in Transylvania - visiting the two castles, Brasov and Sighisoara

Itinerary:

Day 1. Bucharest - Sinaia - Bran - Brasov. Hotel accommodation Coroana Brasovului or Wagner 3* - 16 km -

In the morning we start to discover the famous Peles and Bran castles. One is located in the Prahova Valley, in the middle of the forest, erected with the personal treasure of King Charles I in an eclectic and modern manner; in Sinaia we also visit the Sinaia monastery. The other, the "Dracula’s" Castle, is famous for the legend of Prince Vlad Tepes (the Impaler) who established the military base here while making a raid on Brasov; with its medieval architecture, from the outside it makes you think of the fantastic characters of the various legends. In the evening we arrive in Brasov and visit the main tourist objectives: the Council House, the Black Church, the White Tower, the Black Tower, Scheii Brasovului Church (oldest district of the city), the narrowest street in Europe (Rope street) . For 4* hotel, a supplement of 15 eur / person is charged.

Day 2. Brasov - Sighisoara - Viscri / Prejmer / Rupea - Brasov. Hotel accommodation Coroana Brasovului/Wagner 3* -200 km -

After taking the breakfast we continue the trip to Sighisoara, included in the Unesco Heritage thanks to the age and originality of the city, birthplace of Vlad Tepes the Impaler. You can see the Clock Tower, the Vlad's house, the Church on the hill , the Evangelical Cathedral. Then we visit the Viscri village (in english "the white church") included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999, thanks to its archaic aspect reminiscent of Saxon architecture. Alternatively, depending on your preferences, you can see the Prejmer or Rupea fortress. In the evening, we return to Brasov, take the dinner and stay overnight. For 4* hotel, a supplement of 15 eur / person is charged.

Day 3. Brasov - Rasnov Fortress - Snagov Monastery - Mogosoaia Palace / Village Museum – Bucharest – 175 km -

In the last day, we visit the beautiful and preserved Rasnov Fortress, arriving at a panoramic point, 650 m high, superb view. Then before return to Bucharest, we do a visit to the Snagov Monastery, famous for its location on the Snagov island and for the tomb of Vlad Impalatore Tepes. In the afternoon we visit the Mogosoaia Palace or the Village Museum, according to preferences.

• For pre/post extra night with halfboard, there is a supplement of 50 EUR/person.
