Day 1. Bucharest - Sinaia - Bran – Brasov. Accommodation Hotel Coroana Brasovului or Wagner 3* - 200 km -

Be sure that you have well chosen the 2-day trip with a night out of Bucharest, to enjoy more time at the attractions and in the nice city of Brasov! The first stop is at Sinaia tourist resort, where we can visit the Sinaia monastery with the 19th century church, a work of Byzantine art, built near the ancient church which is reminiscent of the general Mihail Cantacuzino, descendant of the Byzantine imperial family Cantacuzino. The second objective in Sinaia is the Peles Castle, built to the order of Charles I, king of Romania, in an eclectic style. The second stop is at the Bran Castle, an ancient customs center on the border between Wallachia and Transylvania, where the famous Vlad the Impaler (Tepes), also named Dracula in the tourist world, had established the military base while he made a foray into the enemy city Brasov. After, we arrive in Brasov in the evening, visit the historical center with the Council House, the Black Church, the White Tower, the Black Tower, the Catherine’s Gate, Church Scheii Brasovului and the Rope street, the narrowest street in Europe.

Day 2. Brasov - Rasnov Fortress - Snagov Monastery – Bucharest

After taking the breakfast and a short urban walk, we go to see the Rasnov Fortress, the most famous and preserved fortress built by the Saxons in Transylvania (in total there are 300 fortresses), a panoramic point towards Brasov and its surroundings. We continue the trip and arrive at the Snagov Monastery, an ancient Orthodox center rebuilt by Vlad the Impaler, also named Dracula. That's why most historians say that the prince is buried here. The monastery is located on the island of the same name. Inside we find the largest medieval wall painting preserved in a Romanian church, built in the 16th century. In the evening, we arrive in Bucharest.
