Itinerary:

Day 1. Bucharest - Sinaia - Bran – Brasov direction. Accommodation Hotel Coroana Brasovului or Wagner 3 * - 200 km -

The first attraction is Sinaia resort, where we visit the Sinaia monastery with the 19th century church, a work of Byzantine art, built near the ancient church that recalls the general Mihail Cantacuzino, descendant of the Byzantine imperial family Cantacuzino. The second touristic attraction in Sinaia is the Peles Castle, built to the order of Charles I, king of Romania, in an eclectic style. The next attraction is the Bran Castle, an ancient customs center on the border between Vallachia and Transylvania, where the famous Vlad the Impaler (Tepes), also named Dracula in the tourist world, had established the military base while he made a foray into the enemy city Brasov. The castle ends as the summer residence of Queen Maria, famous for her courage, naturalness and elegance. In the evening we arrive in Brasov, where we visit the historical center with the Council House, the Black Church, the White Tower, the Black Tower, Church Scheii Brasovului, the Rope Street, the narrowest street in Europe.

Day 2. Brasov - Sighisoara - Biertan - Medias - Sibiu. Accommodation in Sibiel. Accommodation Ana Ciortea House 3 *

After taking the breakfast, we continue the trip to Sighisoara. The city is known as "The Pearl of Transylvania". A window on medieval life, a romantic village made of narrow streets and houses of the time that make us retrace the history of a country rich in culture and traditions. We will see the Clock Tower, the home of the famous Vlad the Impaler called Dracula, (born around 1431) and the steps leading to the most panoramic point of this village. After visiting the Biertan Fortress, included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site and making a panoramic tour of Medias, we arrive in Sibiu, one of the largest cities in Transylvania, named European cultural capital in 2007. The tourist attractions visited are: the Bruckenthal Palace built in Baroque style, the Bridge of Lies, the Orthodox Christian Cathedral, the Saxon Cathedral, the Catholic Cathedral and the Council Tower. In the evening, we arrive in Sibiel, a tourist resort of national interest, where we take the dinner and stay overnight. For accommodation in Sibiu in a 4* hotel we charge a supplement of 15 EUR / person.

Day 3. Sibiu - Olt Valley - Cozia - Poenari Fortress - Curtea de Arges - Bucharest

In this day we discover the Olt River Valley (the longest quarter in the country) and the Cozia Monastery built by Prince Mircea the Elder, grandfather of Vlad Tepes. Then, we go to Curtea de Arges, famous for its innovative architecture of the sixteenth century and for its legend of the master Manole.The monastery is declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Alternatively, only between 1 July and 1 October, we can go on the Transfagarasan road that crosses the Carpathian mountains, admiring beautiful landscapes. In the afternoon we visit the Poenari Fortress, built under the orders of Vlad the Impaler, from the boyars' families who had betrayed his father. We arrive in Bucharest in the evening.
